Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a very happy and safe festive season and have had a great start to 2010.
You can download the 2010 program but each individual category on this website has not been updated yet, but should be in the near future.
Don't forget if you are planning to return in Term 1, 2010 to let us know ASAP so you don't miss out on a spot in the class you want and to ensure your class actually runs. Without sufficient numbers classes can't continue. The LCC is currently closed but you are able to leave a message re enrollment and you will be contacted in late January when the centre reopens. "Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbours, and let each new year find you a better person."(Benjamin Franklin) I look forward to seeing many of you return this year and meeting any new people joining us for the first time. If you have enjoyed a group or class at LCC please spread the word to your families and friends!! Take care and I will see you soon!

Centre SpotlightFrom time to time we feature a person or group in the centre as recognition to the wonderful contribution they have made.State Government Department of Planning and Community Development(DPCD)
This year we see our Children's Activity Centre swing into action as all our playgroups move out into our newly refurbished hall. The refurbishment of this hall has been made possible by the generous support of the State Government who granted us $60,000.00 to enable the installation of new plumbing so a disabled bathroom could be installed; kitchenette, re-stumping with a new polished floor, re-wiring, lots of new storage cupboards and a fresh new coat of paint!! The hall also has a new disabled access to make it easier for prams and wheelchairs. Livingstone Community Centre is very grateful to DPCD for their financial support and we look forward to a great year ahead using this wonderful new facility. Thank-you DPCD! - |
